Team Super Jack Purcell
Jack was born with a rare renal tumor, Cellular Congenital Mesoblastic Nephroma. The tumor was discovered on Christmas Eve 2015 when Jack was five months old. Two days later the tumor and his kidney were removed. One month later he started 13 rounds of aggressive chemo.
Jack is our little Super Hero. He has been one year off of chemo in May 2017. He's a strong happy two year old full of smiles.
Approximately 13,000 children a year in the US hear the words, “You have cancer.” Help us make sure that those words can be followed with, “But we have a cure.” Pediatric cancer research funding is less than 4% of the NIH funding for cancers. Progress is dependent upon private funding sources.
Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation is dedicated to raising funds that go directly to research that improves the care, quality of life, and survival rate of children with malignant disease. Currently PCRF is funding 11 different institutions across the country. I have chosen to support this four star charity in the fight against pediatric cancer.
Thank you for taking the time to support this important cause by joining our team or donating. Please, consider forwarding this to someone else who may wish to be involved. Research is the key to advancing pediatric cancer treatments and cures. Together we can find a cure.
